The Warehouse Taproom, Bar & Restaurant near King’s Lynn will be reopening its doors this spring, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone back.
After a long period of rebuilding, planning, and hard work, the end is finally in sight. At the end of 2024, we sadly had to close the restaurant following a fire in our kitchen. Having only opened in April 2021, this was devastating news for the team and the Clark family. The damage was extensive, affecting the entire restaurant, with the kitchen needing to be fully replaced and the interior stripped back due to smoke and water damage.
As we move into a new year and the building work continues to progress, we’ve now had the green light to begin preparing for our reopening this spring. It’s been a challenging and emotional journey, but we’re excited to be heading towards the next chapter and getting back to doing what we love here in West Norfolk.
What to expect for the reopening
Our much-loved restaurant will be returning with the same rustic, industrial character and warm, welcoming atmosphere you know so well. While there’s still plenty happening behind the scenes, we’ve been sharing updates where we can across our social media as things take shape ahead of reopening.
Morning visitors will be pleased to hear that our great coffee will be back, once again supplied locally by our friends at Silver Oak. The Taproom will also return with its ever-changing line-up of rotating beers, featuring a wide range of breweries. From local favourites like Moon Gazer to internationally renowned breweries such as Meteor, there’ll be plenty to explore on the taps, as well as in our fridge selection.
Behind the bar, we’ll be teaming up with local distilleries including WhataHoot and Black Shuck to showcase some of Norfolk’s finest spirits. Alongside this, our full spirits and drinks range will continue to be supported by our sister business next door, Beers of Europe.
Bringing back events
As we reopen and settle back in, we’re excited to bring events and collaborations back into the heart of The Warehouse Taproom. While nothing is set in stone just yet, we’re looking forward to working with musicians, entertainers, and local businesses again in the future.
If you’re a local business or creative in King’s Lynn or the wider West Norfolk area who’d like to collaborate with us down the line, we’d love to hear from you. info@thewarehousetaproom.co.uk
